Can you accommodate Spanish speakers at Overnight Camp?
Yes! We have had Spanish-speaking campers at Overnight Camp before who have had a great experience. We've have Spanish-speaking staff each summer who are able to help when needed and always looking to how we can fill this need each summer. In addition, many families have used the camp experience as an immersion experience for their campers to improve their English as well.
We want all of our campers to make friends while here at camp, so it's important to acknowledge that a language barrier can make things more difficult, like understanding rules, building connections, and communicating needs. We will do our best to manage this so every camper can have an amazing camp experience with new friends. We'd love to discuss this with you to learn more about your camper and your individual situation, and work with you on how we can make camp a great experience!
