Do you support campers who are transgender, campers with special needs or campers with disabilities?

Do you support campers who are transgender, campers with special needs or campers with disabilities?

Absolutely!  We welcome campers across the gender spectrum, offering gender support plans to ensure that we support their authentic identities throughout their time at camp.

For campers with special needs or medical conditions, we have successfully accommodated many campers with diverse needs so they have a great camp experience at Avid4 Adventure.  If you have any concerns, we’d love to talk with you to discuss what we can do to best serve your child. Please give us a call at 720-249-2412 so we can discuss your camper’s specific needs and put you in direct, early communication with a Camp Director and/or our Nurse Team

After you have registered and once you have received your CampDoc Invitation, please fill out all medical information. Additionally, If your camper has an Individual Support Plan during the school year and if you would like to speak with our Inclusion Specialist prior to camp please select 'Yes' to the question: "Would you like to be contacted by our Camper Inclusion Specialist to discuss further support or accommodations for your camper?".

The Camper Inclusion Specialist will reach out to you 2-3 weeks prior to your child's camp session to create your Camper Support Plan. Once this Support Plan is in place, the Camper Inclusion Specialist will communicate the plan to your child's instructors to ensure your child is supported at camp this summer.
IdeaIf you are unsure of what programs may be best for your camper, please Contact Us or call us at 720-249-2412. We can connect you with one of our field managers to figure out what program might be the best fit and how we can best accommodate your family.
