How is your staff trained?

All of our staff members attend a mandatory two-week long training session prior to the first day of camp, during which they are professionally trained in risk management, counseling, and activity-specific skills.

At a minimum, all staff members are certified in CPR & First Aid, Small Craft Water Safety, and Defensive Driving.

Our staff also participate in intensive in-house training for mountain biking, rock climbing, paddlesports and Leave No Trace, and each staff often come to us with their own nationally recognized certifications in different outdoor disciplines.
