What health services are available at camp?

We have a full-time registered nurse working in our on-site health clinic while camp is in session. All of our staff are also trained in (at minimum) First Aid & CPR, and Medication Administration to support our medical effort.  In addition, we have a dedicated Nurse Consultant for Avid4 and an on-call physician to advise us on any other medical concerns.

Our health clinic is a clean, private, comfortable place to treat cuts, bruises, stomach aches and homesickness, or just to provide a quiet spot for campers to regroup. Our health care staff takes meticulous care of every medical situation, especially when dispensing medicine. If you have specific medical concerns, we’re happy to put you in contact with our nurse prior to camp.  We highly recommend double-checking and providing as much detail as possible to your camper's situation and needs.

In addition to the medical services on camp, we are in communication with local emergency response about our camp to ensure we have quick responses up at camp.  We also have local outpatient services that we can utilize for more advanced procedures given the needs of the situation.
