What if my camper takes regular medication?

If your child needs to take regular medication at camp, simply fill out our Permission to Administer Medication form when you register, detailing the exact guidelines and requirements for any medication your child takes.
All medications should come to camp in their original packaging—we cannot accept medication separated in plastic bags or pill holders.
We need a doctor’s signature giving us permission to administer ANY medications your child brings from home. (This includes supplements and OTC medications.)

Over-The-Counter (OTC) Medications

Every expedition we send out has their own stock of OTC medication. When you register, you can sign our Over The Counter Medications waiver, giving us permission to give your child the basic medications we keep on hand, as needed:
  1. Aloe Gel- Sunburn
  2. Anbesol- Mouth Sores
  3. Antacid/Pepto- Upset Stomach
  4. Antifungal Cream- Foot Infections
  5. Auralgan Otic Solution- Ear Wash
  6. Benadryl- Allergic Reactions
  7. Betadine- Cleaning Topical Wounds
  8. Calamine Lotion- Exposure to Poison Ivy/Oak
  9. Carmex- Lip Burns/Dryness
  10. Chloraseptic- Sore Throat
  11. Chlor-Trimeton- Non-Drowsy Allergy Relief
  12. Double Antibiotic Ointment- Topical Treatment for Minor Cuts or Burns
  13. Hydrocortisone Cream- Itchy Skin
  14. Ibuprofen- Cramps, Sore Throat, Aches, and Pains
  15. Imodium- Diarrhea
  16. Milk Of Magnesia- Constipation
  17. Pepcid- Allergic Reactions/Upset Stomach
  18. Robitussin DM- Coughing
  19. Saline Solution- Eyewash
  20. Throat Drops- Sore Throat
  21. Tylenol- Pain or Fever
  22. Zyrtec and/or Claritin- Allergic Reactions
