Where will my camper go to the bathroom and shower?

Bathrooms at Expedition Camp

Your camper will not have access to modern amenities during their trip. Depending on their location, campers may have access to porta potties, or pit toilets. On our more remote backcountry experiences without any access to toilets, campers will learn how to use "Leave No Trace" principles to leave the least amount of impact by properly burying or disposing of human waste. 

Campers will not have access to showers while out on their trips. Depending on the trip and activities involved, a lot of people take advantage of any activities "on the water" to freshen up a bit. We will always have access to fresh water that campers will be able to wash their hands with or utilize a bucket shower if a quick wash is necessary.
