Why do you have two Overnight Camp locations?

Why do you have two Overnight Camp locations?

Our Overnight Camp program has humble beginnings, from a two-week pilot program with only 30 campers to the two full-facility, 8-Week programs we enjoy today.  As the years have gone by, more and more campers wanted to join our camps and with a great opportunity to expand with our great partners at the Jefferson County Outdoor Laboratory in 2017, we jumped at the chance to be able to offer more camp for more kids.  Not just more, but better!

Having two Overnight Camp locations has allowed us to tailor our outdoor adventure program to fit the age groups that each site serves - Camp Blue Sky (formerly Mt. Evans) for grades 1-5 and Camp Windy Peak for grades 6-12.  We've found that this split allows us to tailor our program to support these age ranges to what they need and provides a progression of our experience so each camper gets something new every year!
